MIT Open Learning recognizes faculty who have effectively used innovative learning on campus and beyond through the following awards:
Teaching with Digital Technology Awards are student-nominated awards for instructors who have used digital technology to improve teaching and learning at MIT. Over the last six years over 1,200 nominations have been received. The deadline for nominations is in late March of each year.
MITx Prize for Teaching and Learning in MOOCs is an award that recognizes MOOC instructors who have demonstrated impact and innovation in educating global learners. The call for nominations is held annually during the spring term.
